Pure Vanilla Bean Extract

Ingredients

  • 5 whole Ceylon vanilla beans
  • 8oz plain vodka (35%+ Alcohol)
  • 1 Glass Jar or Bottle

Preparation

  • Slice 5 Ceylon vanilla beans down the middle and cut them into 2 inch segments.

  • Place the prepped vanilla beans in an air tight glass jar or bottle.

  • Submerge the vanilla beans in 8 ounces of plain vodka.

  • Seal the bottle, shake thoroughly, then store in a cool dark place for at least 8 weeks.

  • Use your delicious grade A gourmet vanilla extract.
